TRAJ Call for Editorial Board Members
Posted by Emily Hanscam on 2024-11-27
The Theoretical Roman Archaeology Journal (TRAJ) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the Open Library of Humanities, providing a venue for innovative and interdisciplinary research in the field of Roman Archaeology. The journal promotes the use of theoretical approaches to the Roman past and facilitates fresh interpretations of datasets, rather than solely the presentation of archaeological data. The geographical scope of the journal is the whole of the Roman world at its greatest extent, including areas beyond the frontiers where Roman influence was evident. The journal’s temporal scope is from the Bronze Age to the Late Antique period; however, the subject of most contributions will usually range from the third century BC to the fifth century AD. The latest issue of TRAJ can be viewed here.
With steady growth over the past few years, TRAJ is seeking new members to join its international editorial board. In conjunction with the Editor, current editorial board members, and the TRAJ advisory board, tasks will include the following:

· Copy-editing: helping with the final copy-editing of manuscripts prior to publication
· Guest Editorial Team Support: help the guest editors of the regular volume and special issue volumes through the editorial process as needed and requested by the Editor.
· Promotion of TRAJ: raise awareness of TRAJ at your institution and at conferences, encourage relevant colleagues to submit articles.
· Participating in Editorial Board Meetings: Attend meetings that occur a few times a year, your feedback and support will shape the future direction of TRAJ.
